Beth Ditto-Love her!

Is anyone here a fan?
I didn't really know anything about her, until I saw this video:

Then I read some interviews and listened to some tracks from her band, the Gossip, and I think she is amazing.

awesome.

i haven't heard of her, but that first video was amazing!

I watched it once, and then I found myself returning to play it again. I think her voice and enrgy is addictive.

And, if you get a chance read an interview:

Hey, what'd I do? I was all scared to download!

Thanks for the track!

:D Great track eh?

ooh, I know her! Or I know *of* her, at least. She seems cool. I like her voice.

Carrie, we'll see her on the TC tour. :wavey:

I think I read about her in Rolling Stone - she is gay isn't she?

MMhmm, hardly any music makes me feel like I am back in a club at 22 years old any more. This one does.

Gonna take my geritol and listen to some X now.

 thanks, you whore.

sweet!

where are you?

I thought that said "who are you?" I was like, uh,*grabs ID?*

i'm going to need 2 forms of photo id and a passport. thnq.

I was uncertain about the live clips. She was a little screechy and sang about 6 notes. Sounded a little thin vocally. Even tough she had great energy.
The real video was much better. More range and some different dynamics in her singing. Sassy.

I have to hand it to her for wearing horizontal stripes and especially that "pick up the pizzas and go home" shot. Waving that slice around!
Very funny. The music is poppy, punky and fun. I'd love to hear her sing a slow, surging bluesy ballad and see what she would do with it. There is a lot going on there.

yeah, if she doesn't blow her voice, it will be interesting to see her development.

"Pick up the Pizzas and go home"! This is the first time I have used LOL, and I mean it! Did you make that sh8t up?
