Funny misprints

Spotted for sale on Craig's list today:

Blowing shoes

Hospitable bed

Anyone got more?

DrummerDeanna 03-13-2007 03:39 PM

^^

Hospitable Bed!!! Love it.

I haven't noticed any lately, my all-time favorite was an Associated Press article talking about New Mexican Gay Wolves. (gray wolves).

This isn't a misprint, but I saw this referenced on a blog today. It's still funny.

I like the one I heard on Leno last night. Tips for ~older people~ on how to stay warm: Crap yourself in a big blanket...

I know! I usually don't watch his interviews unless he's got someone good on. That goes for most late night talk shows.

Whatever. I hate when people confuse are and our. It annoys me as much as not knowing the difference between your and you're.

michelle2677 03-13-2007 07:30 PM

^^If I get in a hurry, I mess it up, but I DO know the difference. I go back and read some of the **** I've typed and think..."WTF?"

lol. well, typos are one thing, but people who always mess it up, I assume they just don't know what they're doing. :p OH, and there, their and they're...

omg, that is SUCH a peeve of mine. When you look through my senior yearbook you can see all these different parts where people wrote "your awesome" or "your a nice guy" and I just fight the urge to spellcheck every one of them.
