franchising out
I've really been thinking about buying a franchise and being my own damn boss. but I have no idea what franchise I'd want or how it all works. I will do the research, but wondered if you'd ever thought about this or what franchise would you want? I def don't want a restaurant or fast food joint. unfort, Sephora doesn't franchise. :( that would be perf.

I could see you running an Aveda.

good luck w/ it if that is what you really want, i used to do advertising & met a lady who opened a blimpie's sandwich shop franchise, i helped her w/ all her advertising & she is doing awesomely financially, it has been very good to her & she loves the freedom of being her own boss~

I've thought about it briefly, then ditched that idea. Being my own boss would mean being other peoples' boss too. And I have little patience for stupid people, so you just know my employees would seem OK at first, then turn out to be total morons. So, no for me.
Hey - you could open up a Tim Horton's coffee & donut shop down by you. They're huge up here. Wait, no food. Well, my one piece of advice is to bring in something that's not routine in your area. Like, if there are 50 Dunkin Donuts in your town, they don't need another one. But start something new & you may have more of a chance at succeeding. |

Remember when Ryan & I stood there like deer in headlights & those sales women were like "don't you love Lesley?" and we were like "Lesley who?" And there she was on the giant TV behind us doing her infomercial. |

 I think simply "Consohokens" would do it. :woohoo: |
