^LMFAO. The only time when I ever wish I was older is when I think about how much freaking fun it would have been to be a Stevie/Mac fan back in the day and see some of the crazy drug-induced concerts live!

^ Ya know? That, or have video of these infamous shows. We don't have this, we don't have the stage fight in Australia on the Tusk tour......Someone told me once there was a Buffalo show in either 77 or 78, that Stevie was really messed up & had to practically be propped up to sing. Of course, the audio bootlegs don't reflect that & she sounds fine, so obviuosly not everyone's recollections are very accurate - esp. from that era.

Video would be awesome. But being there would be even better. Can you just imagine seeing coked out Stevie twirl off the stage and then get right back up without missing a beat? :D

I refuse to admit that until I see video proof. :D

The problem was for those of us who were lucky enough to see them back in the days is that most of us were a tad drug induced as well. I thought she sang great and my lack of memory proves it! :D

You know, I can just picture it happening, that makes it all the more funny.

Is it still cool these days to get stoned at concerts in the US? With certain artists here it's almost a requirement. I went to a Roger Waters show a few years back and phew, if you weren't already stoned when you came in, you'd sure be when you got out.

Yes, some moreso than others. At Petty shows it's practically a requirement.

No. Totally not kidding either. Stevie can barely remember lyrics to her songs on stage, I highly doubt she would be able to give us the exact location of the stage fight. Or an accurate recount on what really happened. This particular story has changed so many times, who knows if everyone's even talking about the same incident.

He he, that's awesome.
