Stevie Demos in iTunes

I downloaded the demos on the Stevie forum... Most of them were from Nixxed. However, I am running into an issue that I don't understand. Maybe somebody can help me....

I download them the service... it goes into my iTunes... no problem. But after a few days they disappear!? The names are still there, but the files are not? What's the reason for this?

I have now burned them to CD to save them, and I can re-import them into iTunes if needed... but why do they go away after a few days?

Thanks for the help...

hmm. are you using a mac or a pc?

when you save the files, are you telling them to open in itunes straight away, or are you saving them to a certain folder, and then opening them up?

I made this mistake the first time around. You have to "save to disk" before opening up with itunes.

yep. that doesn't happen with macs, but if you're using a pc, it'll save it in a temp folder, and those get cleaned out every couple of days.
