Cross your fingers for me!

So I was informed this morning that I may get to interview Lily Tomlin when she's in town next month.

She's coming in to do her one woman show...and everyone on staff knows I'm a huge fan...so this morning management called and said they've been asked if we want to do an interview with her.

Of course, we're a public radio station and this isn't overly "newsy" so the news director and senior news staffer are discussing whether or not it's something we should do...but they said if we do decide to do it..it's MINE!

So anyway...I'm really excited, hope it happens because a) I love her and b) it'd be a great notch on my interviewing belt...

So cross those fingers for me...or wish me luck or whatever...yea!

^ That would be very cool. And much less scary than Carol Channing.

fingers crossed!

toes crossed!

_______ crossed!

:xoxo:

That's great, Deanna. My fingers are crossed for you!

Thanks! And yes, this would be a much less frightening experience than Carol Channing *shudder*

Now - the actual interview may be a phoner..but talking with management and such will make it that much easier for me to get backstage after the show...or at least that's what I'm being told...if she's actually in the state before her show - it may be a face to face thing....

I'm really hoping for you! I love her. What an awesome opportunity.

Good luck & fingers crossed (Errr, middle ones???  ) here for you.

Hey, she was great on The X-Files.

My fingers are crossed.

I know...it's bad that I really really want to sneak a question about that in there

I was hoping you'd say that.

omg! i love lily!!!!!

good luck!

haha..."Lily, is David Duchovny as hot in real life as he is on tv? What about Gillian Anderson?" :p

just kidding...but this weekend I do have to think of what I'd genuinely ask her..and then put together a proposal of what I'd do with the interview if we decide to do it.

Or, like, how did you really feel about exposing your hole to David Duchovny?
