Street Angel voice

I know this interview has been seen by most, but I love the version of Rhiannon she plays at the end. I think her voice then was just so good.

Also - kudos to the youtube poster!!!!

The SA tour was one of my favorites. She just sang her heart out! :) She didn't look great but bless her heart, she certainly gave it her all. She sounded so much better than the three prior tours and seemed much happier. When I saw her again in 96, she did not compare vocally. I loved seeing her of course but she certainly did not "bring it" like she did on the SA tour.
Thanks for that link, J. Good memories.

that's my favorite piano rhiannon ... she just seems so in the moment, not really laboring over the piano part. love the stuff she does at the end.

I'm always puzzled to the fact that she drags all of her "older" chiffon and outfits around with her, knowing she will never wear them. She had all those shawls in her trunks on the SYW Tour (as seen on All Access)....but why? To gather dust and waste space?

I think she hauled out a few new/old things on the SYW tour. She once said she takes everything with her because she may dec. to use it on the road and would rather have it there. makes sense to me - now, if she'd just do it more often!!!!!

I know! I would die to see a blue shawl over her black dress....I think that would look absolutely breathtaking.

The Sara cloak on the tour MADE the tour for me.

That was cool... I have never seen that before today.

Okay... who here thinks Tommy Hilfiger could be even remotely heterosexual after watching that?

She wore the blue shawl over her black dress here in Mansfield in 04' on Tusk. I snapped a really bad pic of it, but I thought it was so neat.

I have always thought Stevie looked really sexy in this clip, especially for the SA era...

I agree and I LOVE the hair.

I also think she looked sexy in the SA era, save for maybe the hair. I think much of that is dur to her hiding the weight under a ton of veils.

It started with the TITN tour and thankfully ended with the SA tour, though at least the SA hair was not ten feet off of her head
