Stevie-style boots
I know we're never gonna find exact replicas, but even finding plain black platform boots that aren't too chunky or have spikes all over them is hard. I haven't been able to find any. I have an awesome pair of boots I wore when I performed at Night of A Thousand Stevies (with legwarmers because they have some metal detailing that I don't like and they lace up), but for the show in Boston in March, I don't want to wear legwarmers and just want some plain platform boots similar to Stevie's...anyone know of some good sites I could check out?

Have you seen this site?
Kind of close, but this one is only ankle high and kind of chunky heel http://www.afashion.net/ankle-platform-boot-p-73.html There is also a knee high, but can't tell if it's smooth leather or suede? Looks more like smooth to me http://www.afashion.net/elegant-plat...oots-p-64.html Not bad prices thou for boots. |
These boots are from a plus size clothing site, so they calf size may be too large for you. They have always seemed "Stevieish" to me.

nope I haven't checked out zappos, but I will. thanks! |
I bought a fantastic pair off eBay recently which I absolutely adore -- lacing up the front but that's easily hidden if you're wearing platforms.
Really fast shipping and the boots are so comfy it's disturbing. Link |
