UTS playing in B&N
 

hi - i just went to return a few books to barnes and noble and they were playing the entire UTS album! What a treat! I ended up staying much longer than i planned to. Has anyone else ever heard the entire album playing anywhere? I just went around the store singing all the songs.

Yeah, that happened to me at a B&N, too a few months ago. The clerk at the Warwick, RI store was sort of a fan and played the whole CD. Of course a customer did not like the CD and made a few nasty comments. He told her that if she really wanted to hear something awful that she should check out Sting's latest CD.:p

bn can only play a cd over the store system if it's an in-store play. it's either been designated as such at some point since october, or will be this month. the cds put on in-store play are always displayed on an end cap somewhere, too. so mayyyybe they're gonna push the BN exclusive version a bit. for most artists, it's usually a couple months after the album's release before bn does a special.

i am so glad i don't work there anymore. :o
