Dee Snider was the singer for the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. This is from an interview with him:

"It's so weird, you know, after you come to know people, it's very difficult to not like them anymore. You know, and a case in point for that one would be Fleetwood Mac. I HATED Fleetwood Mac. Hated, hated, hated. And I wound up at this record industry function and I wound up spending a good part of the day with Stevie Nicks and she was really cool. She wasn't an asshole at all. And all of a sudden I'm sitting there going, "you know, that 'Rhiannon,' that's a pretty catchy tune." (Dee laughs). You can't really hate her with quite the same venom when they're actually like not assholes. You know, you want 'em to be assholes."

I admire the fact Dee HUMBLED Tipper Gore during the Congressional meeting in regard to rock lyric content (As did Frank Zappa & the late John Denver)...He smoked her as BIGTIME!!!

a great picture of Stevie backstage with Steven Tyler & Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and W.Axl Rose of Guns N Roses...Havent seen that picture in a few years.

Stevie receives much love from the metal music community (The proto-typical rocker chick look was invented by Stevie), whereas Fleetwood Mac as a whole is looked down upon as "too adult contemporary/soft rock" (Gee, I must be one of the few death/black metal fans who is also a Stevie fan...Guess I could get some 'corpse paint', leather clothes, inverted crosses/pentagrams and some goofball single name like "Zebal" and twirl like a maniac to "Stand Back" :lol: )
