Gah! SATB are the only band that could do the Beatles better than the Beatles. I even prefer their "Dear Prudence."

One of my fave concerts ever was on the "Peepshow" tour with Siouxsie in a Louise Brooks bob and a flappergirl lingerie outfit... 15 years before Madonna's "Reinvention." What I loved about SATB (unlike some bands we know, cough, cough) is that they always changed the setlist and even played B-sides. I about nearly fainted when they did "Something Blue," which I think was the B-side to "Killing Jar." Oh... good times.

Thats so cool! I would kill to see Siouxsie live - although I want to see tracks from 'The Scream', which she doesn't seem to perform without the Banshees :(

Oh yeah, and how great is this!!??

I thought it was amazing that they did so much "Scream" stuff on their 2002 reunion tour. Especially since, well, to put it delicately, Siouxsie doesn't quite have the pipes she used to have in her salad days. Even ratcheted down several keys, she still has trouble staying on pitch :distress:. But who cares about pitch when she's still got that unmistakeable Siouxsie phrasing. Nobody can bellow like Mrs. Sioux-Budgie!

Here are a couple of Scream tracks from the Sonic Fesitval in Tokyo 2002:

 I love their version! I actually heard it in a store a few months ago, and nearly jumped out of my skin.

If you can find it, get it! If I had to choose between the Seven Year Itch DVD (their 2002 tour) or Nocturne, I'd pick Nocturne, if only because Siouxsie was spot-on the whole time on it, as opposed to.. well, not on SYI. The extras on Nocturne are great, too.

I'd love to see them release a DVD from the Peepshow tour, considering how theatric it was, but that'll never happen -- especially considering the way the remasters are going right now. :\

And now for my favorite Siouxsie video, also possibly my favorite music video ever:
