Mac and Stevie songs you are sick of hearing

Personally, I am sick of hearing Rooms on Fire at the moment. That and all of Trouble In Shangri-La. This is my fault cos I played them to death but still...

anyone else?

I dunno about you but, I go through periods of different albums that I'm "into". At the moment it's Rock a Little..dunno why because I think it's one of her worst but the songs I love on it I have been playing a lot recently. Strange. I'm all Troubleinshangrilaed out for the time being.

Don't Stop. PLEASE, for the love of god, radio stations, do stop. I actually haven't been listening to the Mac or Stevie lately, so... Maybe I'm sick of all of them?

I hardly ever hear Landslide on the radio, so it's not that overplayed for me. GYOW... yeah. I'll listen to it if it comes on, though, but I definitely won't go out of my way to play it.

I literallyhear at least, at least, one of these songs on the radio every day.

And I don't listen to the radio  BUT by habit I still do get into the car - scan all stations, decide it's crap and then pop in a cd...but seriously - every day it seems I'm hearing one of the Mac songs I'm sick of.

I'm always listening to something by the Mac, but it's a constant rotation. Right now I couldn't bear to hear anything on Say You Will...but give me a week. I could very well chane my mind and it will become my favorite disc for the next six months.

Dreams, Landslide (The Dance version- I *love* the original and older live versions), Don't Stop, and I think that's it. I could listen to GYOW every day along with most of Stevie's songs.

Haha, I'm the same way. Even though the radio in my car blows. Seriously, it's like... the LCD display is f*cked, so you can't see the numbers. It's so frustrating to try and find something, and I'm always forgetting to bring a CD (we *just* got a CD player put in. Yeah, we're pretty old skool. :P )

I think that I 'm mostly sick of the songs that I never really liked, Don't stop for instance. I might skip GYOW once in a while, but mostly because I 'm not always in the mood, not becase I'm sick of it.
I'm never tired of Dreams or Sara by the way.

krazy4stevie 12-07-2006 05:15 AM

At the minute I'm sick of hearing almost every song on Rumours, I've played it to death.. at the minute I'm in a real Mirage phase. It was always my least favourite of their albums but I've started paying it really close attention and I can't get enough of it recently, its songs are a really grower...
Don't Stop is my ultimate karaoke tune but I'm so tired of hearing it on the radio!!!

I'm going to be boring and say Dreams, though I've been sick of that for some time.... occasionally Rhiannon. And Don't Stop, for sure.

HomerMcvie 12-07-2006 07:57 PM

Dreams and Rhiannon(although I still like the single version of Rhiannon, with the extra guitar licks).
