Who would do a better job playing Stevie in an upcoming movie?

To choice is yours, fellow Stevie fans!

SortaSavageLike
Pros
-Is already tall enough so he won't have to wear platform boots
-Can twirl reasonably well, provided the floor is smooth enough
-Can remember the lyrics to Edge of Seventeen even after three glasses of wine
-Has brown eyes
-Is the same age as Lindsay Lohan
-Has never been involved in a car accident
-Liked Tusk so much he bought it twice
-Can identify what year a picture of Stevie was taken in about 10 seconds
-Shows up for scheduled appointments on time
-Can belt out a reasonable rendition of Angel

Cons
-Too terrified to sing Happy Birthday in front of his family
-Is a man
-Does not have an upturned nose
-Was two years old the last time Fleetwood Mac had a platinum studio album

Lindsay Lohan
-Is actually a woman
-Has experience with cocaine addiction (which apparently also makes her a strong contender for the Sigmund Freud role)
-Has appeared in several movies

Cons
-Is an incredibly boring singer
-Has the stage presence of a dead seahorse
-Was born with a silver spoon up her nose, instead of spending 28 years fighting to get it there
-Will probably cripple herself in a devastating car accident during the film's production

I would say Candice Night of Blackmore's Night, She can sing ala a mid 70's Stevie, has the look of Stevie down pact moreso than any actor could ever hope to achieve (See picture below) and has been in a relationship with a rather eccentric guitarist since 1991 (Ritchie Blackmore) so she could portray a woman who had lived and loved a musician.

Of course they could always use SortaSavageLike, since it would be cheaper in the long haul, but it would give the Ledgie's bragging rights of the ever popular "Oh, I knew Savage way back when he wasnt famous"

i think a true actor would do the best job -

Cate Blanchett would be great

DrummerDeanna 12-02-2006 05:08 PM

I'm sorry Savage...but my top pic is STILL Jazz

Maybe if I dropped a hundred or so I could be on that list.

I still say Sarah Jessica Parker. She is young enough to play Stevie during the Rumors era, yet old enough to play her during the Dance era (depending on makeup, clothes, etc.) And they are both blonde and short! And, sexy. Both in a mysterious and not obvious way. I think it would work.

iamstevienicks 12-03-2006 08:12 AM

a complete and total UNKNOWN actress

KateTheCursed 12-03-2006 08:56 AM

The only actress I can see playing the part, and truthfully I'm not even sure she could pull it off, is Christina Ricci. She's a good actress, beautiful, charismatic and yet in her own unique way kind of hauntingly creepy.

Kate Hudson!!!

Much Love,

I always thought Alicia Silverstone could play Stevie in a movie. She has brown eyes too and I think she looks a tiny bit like Stevie.

How about that one girl that danced in one of Stevie's videos? She looked like Stevie far away. lol I can't remember if it was the "Talk to Me" video or another one she did and the girl was a teenager when she danced in the video. She would be old enough now.

Quite frankly .....

Virtually anyone...!

But yeah, the unknown gets my vote too.

oh how I love thee.

I'm pretty booked for the next year or so. I say Olivia D'Abo.

Kate Winslet would be perfect but since I guess American producers would want an American actress I'd say Sienna Miller. Her acting unnerves me a bit but she's undoubtley good in Factory Girl and I think Ms Miller could pull it off.
