Lindsey on Tavis Smiley... TONIGHT!! 11/29/06
Tavis Smiley:
Lindsey will be a guest on the Tavis Smiley show on PBS on Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Click here to find a broadcast time in your city. Tavis talks with Rhode Island Sen. Jack Reed and Fleetwood Mac guitarist-singer Lindsey Buckingham. http://www.pbs.org/kcet/tavissmiley/tonight/ Check here for local listings: http://www.pbs.org/kcet/tavissmiley/broadcast/ |
No idea who Tavis is, but any new Lindsey stuff is good news.
Lindsey sure likes those PBS people. |
"Mr Buckingham"... that always strikes me as funny when people refer to him as that (or anyone with their proper title). I think that's a Tavis thing; the last time I watched, he had Alan Alda on, and kept referring to him as "Mr Alda" throughout the entire thing.

I just checked my local listing... It's on at 5am... Like anyone will see THIS here!
|
Sweet!! Not surprising - in fact I'm surprised Lindsey hasn't been on more public broadcasting shows...
Tavis Smiley used to have an NPR show...and he's got his PBS show -and I think he might have a new NPR show...don't know since we don't carry his radio stuff.... Thanks for the heads up!! |
Isn't ironic how Tavis is also interviewing a Rhode Island senator yet this show is not available in here Rhode Island.
|
It says there are no listings in my area for the next two weeks... any chance someone could tape it??
|
Wasn't Tavis also the president/cofounder of BET?
|
Crap!
When I click on the link and put in my zip code...it says Jack Reed and Val Kilmer are the guests. Perhaps Lindsey was on at 12:30AM this morning and I missed it. :(

My local listing says that Lindsey will be a guest on Wednesday, December 6th. I have this feeling he isn't on tonight.

Thanks MacMan!
|
I'm watching right now. :wavey:
|
Awww...he was great. He's so shy when he does interviews, but he's always so eloquent and well-spoken despite anything.

Heh, when he said "when something is original", the closedcaption interpreted it as "when something is an orange" |
