Help with I Tunes
 

I am trying to burn songs from my library to my blank CD and it keeps saying Disc Burner or Software not found when I click the Burn Disc I con I have used this many times before and It has never been a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like it's not an iTunes problem. have you tried re-starting your machine? sometimes that helps with hiccups.

Or check to see if you're running the absolute LATEST version of iTunes - if I don't update it regularly my cds won't burn...

So check to see if there are updates, install and try again :nod:

i think jason may be on to something here. you may even have to uninstall the burner and reinstall.

I think you need an additional piece of hardware? I have to use an external CD burner :shrug:

possibly you need to check the help contents?

sometimes the problem is in the preferences panel.....sometimes it helps to go to the apple.com pages and check the faqs.

you may want to try this:

go to library preferences panes make sure it's the preferences in the main account library
find plist.apple.finder
throw that file in the trash and restart computer prefs are automatically regenerated when restarted

although
it could be hardware problems
so it might be wise to check to make sure drive is listed as active

or could be a dirty c.d. so the drive doesn't recognize the cd is in the tray
make sure cd gets mounted
