Cyndi Lauper buying bagels
 

Did anyone else see Cyndi Lauper on "Ellen" today?

Ellen is in NY this week and she did a bit where she was working in a bagel shop. Of course, she's goofing off and the line is backing up. They show some gal in a coat, hat, and glasses walk up to the front and start giving Ellen the business... telling her she's holding up the line! (joking!)
The first lady in line was obviously oblivious to who either Ellen or Cyndi were and started giving Cyndi the business that SHE was holding up the line by coming up there and complaining!

Ellen then started singing "Girls just want to have bagels....".

Yes! It was so cute. Cyndi looked like such a doll. :xoxo: I'm always amazed that some people still take Ellen really seriously at times, and get kind of pissed off or annoyed when she goes into places and stirs stuff up. I'd laugh my ass off if Ellen served me bagels. ... then promptly faint if Cyndi showed up. :shocked:

They would have had to scrape me off the floor I would have been laughing my ass off!
Ellen is so hilarious anyway.... then Cyndi Lauper happens to wander in and she can be so funny, too.
THEN add in an irate somebody who is clueless and that's all she wrote for me! :wavey:

I know! Did you see her doing her Thanksgiving shopping today? One woman at the counter looked positively disgusted. :laugh:

I loved when she found the turkey cat food.
The Thanksgiving parade was fabulous.... too bad they couldn't have brought Cyndi back for that. :wavey:
