Ledgie lunch ideas?
I find I'm running out of good ideas at lunch time. I hate eating the same thing after awhile, but when I go to make up something new... I get picky.
Right now, I'm having corned beef on whole wheat with mustard and cheese, but that's just today. Suggestions? :wavey: |

what kind of cheese? i had some frozen pizza with mozzarella, goat cheese, and parmesan. it was good except for the weird green things on it that i don't like. other lunch options for me include a smidge of wheat pasta with tomato sauce & some almonds, or fake meat ( :woohoo: ), or a little bit of turkey, or something. salad with coconut oil & red wine vinegar is good, too ... broccoli dipped in sesame dressing ... uhh ... now i'm hungry again. |
But... But... it tastes so good! Not at all corny. :p
Uh, cheese. This is... Gouda. Damn, that broccoli/sesame dressing sounds good. I shall try that one out! Wheat pasta is pretty sweet, too. :D I know I'm still gonna be hungry after I eat this, so I'll probably have an apple, or something. |

the sesame dressing is great. there are actually more words in the name ... it's sesame soy vinaigrette or something like that. apple may be too much sugar to be satisfying ... try just having a spoonful of pb or something. yummmmm. |

I usually bring leftovers from the night before. I make very simple dinners (when I actually cook), like chicken breast, rice, broccoli. I make enough for two and the extra comes to work with me the next day.

You could make something really simple like a chicken salad or an egg salad, which you could assemble Sunday Night. Then you could snack on it or make sandwiches with it throughout the week.
