As of right now my website has 643 views and isn't ranked in its music catagory. If you all visit it like madmen :] then it could be ranked. THat would be awesome. I have been up into the top 10 before.....

Anyway it is great to be back in a Stevie community, and i hope you all have a great rest of the evening.

Much Love,
Ethan

To those of you who have visited the website, thank you so much as I am now ranked #72 in the folk rock catagory and #57 in the jazz catagory. That is pretty special, and I greatly appreciate it. Let's see if we can work our way up to #1...

Hope all of you have a nice day today.

Much Love,
Ethan

plagiarism (noun) 1. the appropriation or imitation of language, ideas, and thoughts of another author, and representation of them as one's original work. 2. something appropriated and presented in this manner.

"Will you write this for me
He says no, you write your songs yourself"

Someone learned her lesson and others would do well to follow suit. ;)

Don't take this the wrong way you two, but what lines of my lyrics are copying Stevie's??? I am sorry if you feel like my lyrics aren't original, but they are and hopefully I can change your mind... Maybe this time....

Much Love,
Ethan

Actually, if you read the responses on this thread, everyone is basically saying the same thing. Hillary and I are just maybe a bit more direct about it.

Vicky, Like I said, could you please know which lyrics seem to be unoriginal, so that I can be aware of the "unoriginality"......

Hope all is well with you, and no hard feelings,

Much Love,
Ethan

The particular songs currently posted on your site aren't that bad, but much of the material you've posted and passed off as your own poetry over at Seven Wonders fit the definition of plagiarism to a T.

Even with these it's obvious that much of your verbage is "borrowed" from a certain chiffon-clad singer. Being too old to love from afar (as opposed to being old enough) and the word candlebright (which as far as I know isn't really a word, it's just a Stevie-ism) stand out in that respect.

It's said by some that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but I say it's just a euphemism for stealing.
