Lindsey on The World Cafe!

The World Cafe is a great music program that is typically played on public radio stations (including the one I work for).

It's a GREAT show -and will be even better come Oct.26th!!

Here are some details I pulled from Lindsey's MySpace

---------------

The World Cafe will be broadcasting Lindsey's session on Thursday, October 26th, 2006.

The World Cafe with David Dye can be heard on more than 180 stations nationwide. You can find your local station here:
http://worldcafe.org or you can listen online to XPN Monday to Friday at 2pm EST by going to:
http://www.xpn.org/listen.php

Late in the day of broadcast, the audio for some of the musical performances will be available on the National Public Radio, NPR, at this link:

It'll be pretty easy to access on the web - if that's not possible then I can get it recorded and post it MP3 style :D

 Most public radio show are podcastable...I'm almost completely certain that the World Cafe is one of them.

xpn is one of my favorite stations in philadelphia -- i'm not surprised to hear he'll be on -- and thanks for the heads up about it! they support local artists and those that tend to be far more creative/indie that normally wouldn't be heard on mainstream radio.

the station itself is housed in world cafe live which is an amazing place to see a live show. i'm hoping if more tour dates are added, he'll come back to the philadelphia area and play there.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't see World Cafe Live on the schedule for the local NPR station here in Buffalo. There was an quite an archive available at the web site. I hope I'll get to hear it eventually.

Thanks again!
Sharon
