G Mail account
 

I have a wee idea :)

How about creating a G mail account where we can upload and share songs with each other? (non mac or whatever)

So for example if someone posts a thread here saying 'I love Cher' and then someone says how great 'Heart of Stone' is, someone else might say I have never heard it and then voila with the magic of gmail it can be shared!! :D

I can set it up and give everyone the username and access

I don't have the internet at home, so it really wouldn't work for me, but I just wanted to say how much I LOVE gmail. It rocks. That is all.

Is it easy to use?

gmail?? it takes some getting used to because it sorts your mail. It seems weird at first, but then you end up loving it. And it has TONS of space!

also there is a chat inside gmail now. You can chat with other people that have gmail and are online without having to download anything.

so would someone just send it to the gmail account from their own email? Then someone else could check the account and open that email and DL it?

but then people would need to know they would have to go to the "sent mail" section?? because there would be no point in sending it to yourself if you already have it....:shrug:

if they compose a new e mail while they are in the gmail account they can send it to [email protected]. I just did it then :)

and it will appear in the inbox

We will be able to store 2.7 gb of music in there.
