B&N Exclusive Under the Skin
 

Hey guys...I pre-ordered the Under The Skin album from Barnes&Noble.com over a month ago. I just received an email from them yesterday saying the "release date had been changed" and until further notice it was being shipped within 30 days...? What gives? Did anyone else order it from them or receive this message?

no. i ordered it over a month ago, too, and they called me yesterday morning to let me know it was in the store.

unforunately, i requested both the regular version and the b&n version (at the time i didn't know it was the soundstage SG), but they only had the b&n. i'm bummed about that.. the sudden burst of applause before SG bums me out after listening to the rest of the beautiful album. they should have just left it alone.

from B&N on Tuesday the 3rd and it was shipped yesterday.

However, I did receive the same message from B&N about a release date change, but it was for Amon Amarth's "With Odin on Our Side", Which was pushed back 1 week til Oct.10-Found the info on their official website today.

Are you saying that they sent you the email in regards to the Buckingham album but it was in error?

I received the nearly same message, but it was about the Amon Amarth disc I also ordered.

The LB disc & a medical related book for Deb have been shipped...Whereas the Amon Amarth disc will be shipped within 30 days due to the release date change for the North American market (Which was Oct.3 and is now Oct.10th)

eh no worries...it'll ship sometime. I just thought that was a bizarre email to receive the day the item was gonna ship. I could've had my sister do what you're offering, had I known that ahead of time.

right...ok...I rarely order music online as often there is a delay. I am curious if those who purchased from the ticketmaster presales have recd.

Well you're taking to someone has no CD Player and no way of getting his new buckingham tracks onto his iPOd anyway! haha...I've got no computer with iTunes on it. Grr...but I would like to know that I have it. Besides, the Say Goodbye is from SoundStage...which was good. I'dve rather had Down on Rodeo from that show on there!

NOT YET. And let me tell you: it has been torture not to go to the store and BUY IT. But I have refrained, because I really don't need two copies of the cd, and I can wait...right??
