Katie Prichard - Lindsey Buckingham
sorry if this has been covered but when I went to download LB's "Show You How" on Itunes I saw this song and downloaded it - it's really cute. It's about Lindsey by a woman (country singer) named Katie Prichard. Worth a listen!

From Katie Prichards site:
Lindsey Buckingham October 2003 My sister Joanie and I were watching the Fleetwood Mac reunion show on TV. I watched Lindsey play the guitar solo on Landslide and fell in love with his skill. I said to Joanie, What I really need is someone to play the guitar for me and be my Lindsey Buckingham. I had that in my head for a YEAR before I ever found the right lyrics to match. This is a simple love story in honor of the talented Mr. Buckingham. Guitar and Vocals Katie Pritchard Bass Pete Doherty Mellodica j reynolds A crowded room She walks in Sees him up on the stage Hes playin a beat-up six-string And milkin it For all its worth CHORUS: And she thinks I was meant for him And he was meant for me You could be my Lindsey Buckingham And I could set you free A greasy spoon The coffees weak They talk all night He writes her a cheesy tune She doesnt care Its the thought that counts CHORUS They drive around From town to town Sharin what theyve made Livin life on their own Year after year And day by day CHORUS Forty years Have gone by Since that fateful day Theyre makin beautiful music As he plays And she sings off-key CHORUS |

there's another one on Itunes called "When Lindsey Buckingham Shaved his Beard" by Tan Sleeve- haven't heard that one either. I can't find any lyrics to that on the internet though. |
