Federer wins US Open
 

Gotta give props to Andy tho, he really tried his heart out. I was rooting for him but Federer is just so good. I wonder if Sampras could have beaten him?
(have they ever played? I dont follow mens tennis all that well...)

i watched the whole thing today - great match! my viewing partner freaks out about tennis like i freak out about football - hilarious.

i think tennis players should be forced to wear nothing but boxer briefs while on the court. hott. :cool:

Roddick played well, better than he's played in quite a while. He has a great serve, but Federer is better than Roddick in every other way. He is too good.

Federer beat Sampras at Wimbledon near the end of Pete's career. It was a very close 5 set match. But they never played each other when each was in his prime. I think Pete was better on the grass at Wimbledon, but I think Roger may have had a very, very slight edge on cement at the U.S. Open. Roger is ALOT better than Pete ever was on the clay at the French Open. Overall, I think Roger is the better player. They are the 2 best players I've ever seen.

I wanted Blake to Win but after he lost I was rooting for Andy. I get sick of watching Federer because every game is just ass whoopin':lol:

Yeah, but I dont mind seeing Federer win becasue hes a really good guy. Not an ass like some of the better players have been.

You are right. He's a class act. I love watching him play. He makes it look so easy.
