Jimmy "The Hair" Paxton
 

Wasn't Jimmy Paxton touring with Stevie as her drummer...? I remember reading about him here and seeing some pichers of his hair. Well I just saw him play tonight with Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer. He did an awesome drum solo, boy has SOUL. And I never woulda thought of a drummer as having SOUL. No offense, DD... I had an epiphany. NIICE! :thumbsup:

yep...Jimmy Paxson...he's really good...when I met him I was like holy sh*it...you're Jimmy Paxson...he's like yea...I am...he must have thought he was a big star...not that he isn't:laugh:

I called him umbrella head.:laugh:

My friend and I bumped into him EVERYWHERE last year in Cesars Palace...twice in the elevator, once in the casino and here's the kicker...he was on our flight back home! LOL :D

When I saw Stevie on the Gold Dust Tour, I noticed Jimmy and someone else roaming around the before the show began, which I thought was interesting. They were just walking around the seats. I'm sorry..but his hair is ridiclious!!

Had I known this, I woulda been on the lookout. He coulda been cruising the Oregon State Fair with Rick Derringer (that's one autograph I would love to have.) I thought Jimmy's hair worked for the show because it bounces all over the place when he plays... it's another form of entertainment! Let yer freak flag fly... and all that. So I mentioned to my friend the drummer had played with Stevie last year... she was like... "no way?! Really!?" Yeah, I said ... those musicians, man... they get around! :laugh:

I agree, he is an amazing drummer, but I still wish that Russ Kunkell would come and play with Stevie again.

Russ can certainly play ~ he's a great drummer.
And thats a whole other thread about HIS hair! :laugh:
