acoustic lindsey: sounds like this?

Sometimes new music is so close to my hero, that it's frightening. What do you think?

another one coming up.

the other one.

That first one is uncannily redolent of Buckingham ambience. Not only that, it sounds like LINDSAY!!!!!!

Hmm....I kinda like them. A lot.

Not bad Gerald.:)

I only listened to the first one so far, but I really like that. Cool song, and sounds ALOT like Lindsey at the start.

Thanks :)

your welcome. It's great that SOME people actually listen to what you put up.
the second one's a great song too.

I listened! I listened! I even sent the first one to my friend Joe, the bassist for the Justen Fox Band!

Not only did I listen, I also uploaded it to my mp3 player. And tried, unsuccesfully, to find some more songs on soulseek. So there. I do appreciate it. Bedankt:cool:

I knew that. You're part of some. So Is mari. I can always count on her.

If that group says they're not influenced by Lindsey, they're lying.

Totally...

Inspired by Lindsey, fo sho. Not only in that country-ish, folky sound, but the way the guy is singing....and the scream at the end.

Thanks for sharing these songs. I like them a lot! :)

Edited to add: I just looked up Elliott Brood on ITunes and there are two albums available for download.

Downloaded them both and added them to the mp3 player  I think I'll be looking into more stuff, buy an album or 2. Thanks for posting these :D

Ok Gerald, since you wanted me to keep on speculating, I will. I think Brood's tracks might give some hint of where Lindsey is going to, but personally I would like him to follow this route:

It has all the whiney qualities and all the childishness Lindsey is criticised for, but also that epic sweep of a "D. W. Suite".
