Anything else looks way too romanticized, too modern--as if Edward Burne-Jones had imagined her. Nineteenth & twentieth century notions of beauty & fertility shouldn't influence our ideation of the physical Rhiannon.

if you look at the back ground of the celtic faith, and believe that rhiannon actually exited, then the first picture does depict what she may have looked like through out that era. the stone idols are exaxtly that, idols of worship, as opposed to pictures of her. i doubt that a picture of her would be used as an idol to worship.

all goddesses worshipped from that faith are usually depicted as idols of stone.
