Can't remember if the recording is in B or E, though. But, regardless of key, if I recall, the pattern is something like:

||: I-I-IV-I :|| then holds the IV for a few bars then to the V, then back to the IV, then to the first pattern.

What is this song from? I've never heard it.

chiliD 07-21-2006 11:33 AM

It is an outtake from the Mirage sessions that was released on The Chain box. It is a cover of a Sandy Nelson hit from the late '50s.

Thanks. I haven't got The Chain yet. I assumed it was a greatest hits package and I never buy those if I'm really into the band. Don't see the point buying songs I already have.

I think there's JUSSSSST enough new material, outtakes & live versions to make it worth the purchase...granted you get 90% of each Rumours & the white album tunes, but there's some rare gems on there (like the original 45 version of "Silver Springs", the outtake of Bob Welch's "Lay It All Down", another Mirage outtake of Lindsey's, "Goodbye Angel", the 45 mix of "Say You Love Me", etc) that make it worthwhile to own. And, you'd also get the unedited Tusk version of "Sara", as well...which, if I recall, was, at the time, the only place you could get that, since the Tusk CD still only had the butchered version.

Now with the re-releases, it probably is kind of redundant...so, would most likely be better to get the 2-disc The Chain box "highlights" set

I'm the same, I have the very best of plus the greatest hits so don't really see the point in buying it. That was until I heard "Paper doll" which I love.

I'd like to hear any Lindsey material. Sounds unlike him or any other guitarists really, to play in B.
