Shows where Fleetwood Mac (or members) were mentioned

Do you remember shows where the band was mentioned??

I remember these:

Who's the boss: Angela temporarely turns into a sexy modern girl with a rocker look and she says she just met Stevie. Samantha asks NICKS? and she saids Of course, did you think Wonder??

8 is enough: Tommy is desperate calling a radio to win 2 tickets for a Fleetwood Mac concert since he already invited a girl (this sure was from the Rumours era)

Alf: Alf is looking an old home video where the mother appears with a hippie look and long frizzy hair and he asks Who's that, Stevie Nicks??

6 feet under: hummm, the daughter had some issue with the Stevie Nicks grapes, but I can't remember details of it or why she call them so.

Will & Grace...

Will says something about his family being like Fleetwood Mac. I know some other Ledgies will know the exact quote and circumstances.

 I remember that one!! Angela had her hair poufed out to there, with gigantic shoulderpads and tons of eye makeup. Hilarious. Judith Light is/was pretty hot...

What about one of the Simpsons Halloween episodes, where Mr Burns says something along the lines of "That girl has more witchery in her than Stevie Nicks!"

Mork & Mindy: Mindy is in her Dad's store showing an album to a costumer and it happens to be Rumours.

Dharma and Greg: Dharma walks in a store and sees her hippy Mom. She goes:"Wow, look at you: Thunder only happens when it's raining".

Sid & Nancy (movie): They were having a fight at his Mom's house and she runs out wearing his Mom's clothes. He follows her and then she sees herself in a window. She screams:"OMG, I look like ****ing Stevie Nicks in hippy clothes".

Some teenager show (I was flipping through the chanels when I cam upon this): two girls in a fitting room. The blonde says:"Wait a minute, I'm trying to look like Stevie Nicks". The brunette says:"Well, you're not doing a good job, girlfriend" (or something like that, it was funny).

I Know that there was an episode of One Day at A Time that mentioned Stevie. If I remember correctly it went something like this:

Someone commented Valerie Bertinelli's characters new hairdo and said that it looked very 'Stevie Nicks". I believe that she replied I hope it's from the Rumours era and not Tusk. Snyder the super asked her why she would want to look like a guy.

That? Is awesome.

Gilmore Girls last season (or the one before that? Haley would know the specifics): Lane is lamenting being in love with her bandmate, I think maybe they were breaking up at this point? Anyway, she was listing bands that had members that dated/broke up & Fleetwood Mac was one.

My favorites are from MST3k:

1) In "Space Mutiny" there's a group of frizzy haired, silent women that keep being referred to as a Stevie Nicks cult (watch it any way because man, that movie is something else. Beef McHeadcheese...)

2) From "Werewolf" Mike and the bots are making fun of the music and insert random lyrics and at the end chant, "TUSK!" - probably my favorite. You can download here and listen.

On Instant Star (on the N), the young female vocalist considers hooking up with her guitar player and her father says, "Let me tell you the story of Fleetwood Mac..."

That's all I can recall right now.

No. The Sci-Fi Channel cancelled it so they could show movies that belonged on MST3K! :distress:

There was a Season Ten episode where they riffed on "Future War." There's a scene near the end where the hero is running, and there's a very loud, repetitive percussion solo playing on the soundtrack, and Mike and the Bots start singing Tusk! I almost busted a gut!

Oh, and on Project Runway someone mentioned someone's dress looking Stevie-ish, sorry I can't really remember, maybe somebody knows better :)
