Is the cover of Rumours flipped horizontally?
 

A potentially stupid question, but it's been nagging me forever. Every out-take I've seen from the Rumours cover shoot has Mick on the right and Stevie on the left. The actual image on the album cover is the only time I've seen them reversed. Has Herbert Worthington or anyone else for that manner said whether it's been flipped horizontally, or if it's just the only image from that shoot with Mick to the left and Stevie to the right? :confused:

that's a good question. I think that cover is absolute magic...everything is perfection.

I've never even noticed it ... is there a piece of jewellery Stevie wears or on Mick's shirt or trousers or something which is on one side in the photos and on the other on the album cover?
Maybe that could tell us. :shrug:

But Mick is wearing shirt in the cover, yes I've seen Mick at the right in other shots from that same (supposedly) session but with no shirt, just the vest.. so maybe the final shot was after changing places, taking a rest, etc

There's nothing like Rumours, for that matter!!!! Well the 2 CD remastered edition I am in love with .... but it's kind of the same thing with some yummy extras and Rumours the way it should have been!! (Disc 1)
