Well there you go. Just thought it would be interesting for others around the world to see how Fleetwood Mac charted over the years. Anybody have the US or other charts to compare it with?

I was surprised to see that Behind the Mask charted #1 in the UK.

Behind the Mask came in at number one because of the enormous success of Tango there .Tango's wake also helped push Nick's TOSOTM to number 3 there ,easily her highest charting UK album.

Bleech..I was looking at the miserable US. Chart placement #128 for Lindsey's Out of The Cradle'It never fails to grate on me that so nearly a perfect pop /rock album fared so badly here.:distress:

It's very unjust. Out of the cradle #128, Time #48. Makes me sad, very sad. :( :(

Actually I disagree. During the 70's and 80's, cable was a new thing so not many people had MTV or other music channels so our only source of the latest music was Top of the pops and Stevie only ever performed "Rooms on Fire" on TOTP so the only higher charting single was "rooms on fire" and and OSOTM climbed to #3

BOTH should have peaked much higher.

I know I will be slaughtered for this but I don't know anything by LB solo. I never paid much interest to his solo work.

Heck, I'm 16!! Most people my age listen to some rite **** but not me...Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Blondie, The Cranberries, The Goo Goo Dolls, Scissor Sisters etc....

I think I'll pass on LB..i have heard stuff from "Go Insane" and it's not that good.

WildHeart - Hi, I was the same as you at one point, I initially only bothered with Fleetwood Mac then eventually got round to discovering Stevie's solo stuff and I've now finally got round to Lindsey's stuff. Having said that I've so far only got OOTC but I would seriously consider buying it (I had to get it from Amazon as none of my local music shops had it) - its absolutely amazing, Doing What I Can and Turn It On are particularly brilliant.
