haha! i didn't know she announced her retirement ... it kinda makes me sad that she wrote homeward bound like a year later, and then spent the next 1000 years touring. oh well, she made a mint and NOW she can enjoy retirement in style.

That retirement lasted about 6 weeks. That's actually pretty cool to see the Beatles & Christine together in that press release.

On June 13th 1980 I saw The Mac for the very first time in concert and Chris signed my Tusk tour book.

LOL.

Well, it would've been great if her and Dennis W. wouldn't have been so drunk, I could hardly understand what she was talking about. Turned that she asked for my name but when I said:"Debbie" she just signed her name with (what I assume) the words 'thank you'. There's no way I can read it hahahahaha.

He was drunk  but he was nice. Chris handed him my tourbook for him to sign but he said:"No, they're here for you" (or something like that, his speech was slurred). He had a Beach Boys concert a couple of days before and they got pretty good feedback from the press and I told him about that. The only thing he said was:"That's nice" He couldn't care less. Chris said to come and see them again, we said yes, we will like good little girls and they took off (with a big bottle of Southern Comfort in between them  )
