There is a blog with five CDs worth of out of print Canadian music and I can't get to it because I have a dial-up connection. Actually I tried to get one, but three and a half hours into a six hour download my connection was broken. :(
I can't seem to make contact with the blogger either. Augh!

If someone here has a faster connection and would like I would be happy to trade them a disc from vinyl albums I have made into MP3s. I have a few FM and Danny Kirwan 'rarities', but if you have any obscure Canadian LPs on your wish list I might have them, or some lounge and latino type things like Three Suns, Los Machucambos, even The Archies. No bootlegging, please.

Someone has one of the out of print Canadian CDs on ebay at $80 and that is about three times more than I have ever paid for anything. Help greatly appreciated as I would hate to have to impose on a friend. I hope this post is okay with The Penguin.

Oops, sorry if I wasn't clear. I was hoping somebody with a fast connection might get the downloads and mail them on a disc, and I would mail them some stuff back in trade.

Coolness! I'm glad you liked some of the music, there seemed to be a lot of variety.

I think I need a bigger harddrive as well as the faster connection but it's getting like that Simply Red tune about money around here.
