Stevie Mention on Howard Stern

Today Howard Stern mentioned Stevie as he introduced the Dixie Chicks who were coming on to his show. He said, "The Dixie Chicks are here and they are going to do that Stevie Nicks song, Landslide." Then he and Robin started singing it and he said, 'Yeah we do it too, but we'll let them do it today."
After they performed it, Howard asked them about Stevie and what "her story is" and they told him she was really great and honest and always wanting women to do well in the music industry. Howard said that was cool. Howard then asked them if they and Stevie ever got together in bed, and they laughed and said NO! Howard said, "yeah well I bet Stevie Nicks has had her share of threesomes or even foursomes!" The Dixie Chicks just laughed and said that maybe it it'll be in a biography if Stevie ever puts one out.

:woohoo:

I so want stevie to be a guest on Howard Stern someday. Another Jim Ladd interview would make me wretch.

Sweet. I'll try to catch it later on the replay.

I think Howard has a lot of respect for Stevie, but finds it sad that she's aged and got fat. He's just generally unfair about that to all women but I think he's a fan. When he watched Live in Boston he had nothing but glowing remarks about their passionate performance but again mentioned Stevie's weight.

Oh well, I think he'd be pretty respectful to her if she ever had the nerve to be interviewed by him. But I'm sure that'll never happen.

Nerve? I think she knows at some point in the interview she would have the overwhelming urge to slap the f*** out of him, like I usually do. It is very cool he likes her, though.

Howard's a pretty cool guy as far as I'm concerned. If I dont like something he says, I just turn the Channel.

He's what they call here a "Shock Jock." He talks alot about sex, lesbians, stuff alot of people think should be taboo on radio. NOw he's on Sirius sattelite radio, so he's much more uncensored now. Like I said, sometimes he gets a little too raunchy for me, but then I just turn the Channel.

Howard is funny in some ways. I would rather die by pitchfork than have Stevie subjected to him. I do not believe she would grace him with her presence. At least, I would hope not.

EDIT: THAN!! Then would not be good. :distress:

Yeah, now that I think about it, that might not be a good mix.

Really! Howard asked the Dixie Chicks later today in the interview if they "swallowed" and what their pubic shaving habits were. They kinda knew that was coming though and took it all in stride. Can you imagine him asking Stevie that??!! Oh my God.
I remember a time when Gary (Howard's producer) said that Lindsey and Mick wanted to come on to promote their Dance Tour, but Gary declined saying if Stevie couldn't come, they weren't interested.

It still would have been hysterical if she didn't show up, and Howard interviewed the boys. I can just hear him, "Mick, WTF is up with this wine thing ? Lindsey what the HELL do you do in the studio for years at a time ?
So Lindsey, did you and Mick ever have a three way with one of girls ?"
I can't imagine Stevie being interviewed by him. I'd pay good money to hear it, though. You know the first rumor he would bring up. It would be scandal ridden and priceless.
