Barnyard Mix - Lindsey Radio Interview

Lindsey Radio Interview

Just for the hell of it. This is a brief radio interview that Lindsey did after the release of SYW. I downloaded it a long time ago and I don't know the specifics as to what show it was for and exactly when it was recorded, maybe someone can fill me in.

Anyway, the first minute and a half is your typical rehearsed answers, but then the DJs start messing with him and the result is pretty funny.

Hehe

Yep!

That was on Mix 102.9 in Dallas, Texas in May 2003. I recorded it on tape and typed out the transcript. Don't know who got it into mp3 though...I don't have those capabilities. The best part is Lindsey talking about The Wiggles and his kids and also him doing the "ah, ah, ah, ah, ah..." Peacekeeper thing. LOL!!

If you don't think Lindsey can say NON-rehearsed stuff....listen for him saying "Oh, that's the rural mix." Heh.

One of the best interviews....ever.

Christy: Do you still have the transcript?

MsVicky: Thanks for posting. Do you have available for download?

Do you think the radio station subsidizes the frontal lobotomy when you get hired to be a morning DJ, or do you have to pay for that out-of-pocket?

It's great to hear Lindsey speaking off-the-cuff for once, thanks for posting this!

Now, why isn't he collaborating with other musicians these days, especially if he's into so much new rock music?

Ha, that was so cute, thanks for posting.
I bet with more spontaneous interviews with Linds, we'd see a lot more of his humourous side.:)

Houseonthehill 05-29-2006 06:03 PM

Haha, Lindsey being such a perfectionist I find it surprising that he was able to joke about the "barnyard mix" pretty though!!

Madness Fades 05-30-2006 11:05 AM

Very True,

I thought whenever the Raido host played the "barnyard" mix Lindsey would have just hung up. Many artists that consider making music almost "like a religion" would have hung up. Well done Lindsey for taking the joke in good humour and playing along.
