Is It A Dry Spell?
I think the visible frustration & sadness are due to a series of unfortunate occurrences, not just the Seven Wonders thing:
1. MSO shows in Australia--disappointment with orchestra on songs 2. MSO shows--disappointment that planned & announced DVD was scotched 3. Bat Mitzvah that Stevie played 4. Stevie's recent comment that she doesn't particularly want to record another solo album 5. Fan party Stevie appearance nixed 6. Buckingham solo album a no-show (you can put this one on the list every year) All the unfortunate stuff just keeps coming, but remember the fortunate stuff: 1. Australian tour--yay, Australians!! 2. YouTube--yay, everybody gets to see plenty of shaky video!! 3. Buckingham Nicks LIVE--with Crystal & I Don't Want To Know!!! YAY!!! 4. My 401(k) is doing pretty well the last month or so!!! YAY!! |

I thought the shows were good 2. MSO shows--disappointment that planned & announced DVD was scotched I am unsure if the DVD was ever officially planned in that there were not the standard four or five cameras, etc., there - or maybe there were and I just do not know. Rumors of live concerts usually abound, maybe this was just that. 3. Bat Mitzvah that Stevie played I do not see this as a negative thing. She is an artist who gets paid to entertain. Whether that payment comes from one person or 15,000 people makes no difference to me. 4. Stevie's recent comment that she doesn't particularly want to record another solo album That sucks, but I do not blame her - she is 60 years old after all. 5. Fan party Stevie appearance nixed This sucks as well, but I am unsure this was Stevie's doing. I would lay odds she did not even know about it. 6. Buckingham solo album a no-show (you can put this one on the list every year) Bless his heart  |
