NOTS 16: the performance order
 

in case any of you come to see specific acts, here's who's on and when...

Act One (Begins 10:30)

Stevie Nicks Experience (opens show), Starless Skye, Dean Johnson, Gypsy Wild, Sherry Vine, Miss Guy, Charlene Coran, Mirror in the Sky, Jazmen Flowers, Sweetie and Chi Chi Valenti

Act Two (Begins midnight)

The Ho Hos, Billy O, St. Eve, Seaman and Queerfunkel, Jessica Rabbit Domination, Nicole Nicks, Vangeline Theater, Stevie Nicks Experience, Amber Garbo and Belladonna

Act Three (Begins 1:30)

Hattie Hathaway, The Divine Grace, Joey Arias, Texxx, Brooke, Sister Codie, Johnny Tingle, Purple Gypsy, Velocity Chyaldd and the Battle of 1000 Stevies (finale)

that's cool, Jason! I'm curious about something & maybe you know the answer: what is the breakdown of those acts as far as which ones are just solo singers, which ones are bands, which ones are dancers, etc. In other words, is there a backline at this event for entire bands to use (PA, drum kit, speaker cabinets, amp heads, floor monitors/wedges, mics, booms)? or is it possible for bands to just haul in their own backline? or do bands not play this event at all--is it just like karaoke?

my understanding is that there is a strict 6 minute time-frame to get everything set up, perform and off the stage per act, so I don't think any bands (with equipment) are performing.

The majority of the acts lip-sync and mime to Stevie's original recordings. There are a few acts who actually sing, which is always cool. Look out for Purple Gypsy in the last set. She can really sing :woohoo:

I'd love to hear these people, but I wouldn't attend the event. I wish there were a way to hear the performers otherwise. The organizers should sell CDs! :thumbsup:

This is the first year in quite a few years I'm NOT going, due to the fact that I'm no longer working and can't afford the ticket or the drinks.
Curious, why NOTS 16 isn't getting any press on nicksfix.com. Any ideas?

Yea..my boyfriend and I got here on Friday and we leave on Sat. Having a GREAT TIME!! Brought my laptop. A little rainy..but hey..its NY!!!
