Is this just a an official statement because the contract is not signed or did Stevie really turn this down?

Everything that's on there has to be cleared by Stevie's management. :shrug:

Maybe it was all just a way to foment a pleasurable little buzz . . . possibly for the sake of physical exercise and/or spiritual reawakening?

I put mine on a credit card purposely in case something like this happened. I will dispute the charges if they don't refund us.

this was perhaps something plausible for a garage band...
but the up-front-first dollar bit for stevie was that really feasible?
