My favorite obscure song is "Echo Valley 2-6809" by The Partridge Family ("Sound Magazine" LP).

hmm ... my favorite obscure songs ... most of 'em are bluegrass. my fave is "ramshackle shack" by wade mainer & the the sons of the mountaineers.

Anybody heard of (or familiar with) a band from San Francisco called "Tea Leaf Green"?

Just found out about them tonight...anybody give me some background on them?:shrug:

Gimme a break..."obscure"?? Not EVEN. That song STILL gets huge airplay on supposed "alternative" stations...such as KROQ in Los Angeles. (even by my band...we extend the song with a big jam at the end, adding a tease of "Rhiannon")
