I agree...and Songbird too. When you listen to some of these old shows, you can tell that she had the audience, even if she was a much more understated performer than either Stevie or Lindsey. By the way, that Nashville show is my favorite live show from the Rumours line-up ever.

I like the way she tells (I think) John and Lindsey they're too loud!

God Lindsey must miss being told off by her!

True, except for those mobs who got up to go get a beer.

Why would she tell john & lindsey? they aren't the ones operating her monitor.

I like all the '77 soundboards about equally--they're all fun & frothy: nashville, little rock, oklahoma city, paris. I just wish there were a little more presence, more gain, on most of those rehearsals.

plus, I wish we had soundboards from the latter three or four months of the tour, too.

I just assumed she was talking to John and Lindsey.

She could have been talking to the engineers which would make more sense.

How large was the stage? Stage volume is DEFINITELY an issue, unless they're standing 30' apart.

yabbut I don't control the levels on my stage monitor when I am playing......... do you?

I am always instructed to give hand signals to the guy offstage. I use a thumbs-up for "make it louder" & use a flat hand sinking down for "make it softer" & if there's a major problem, I run off the stage & whisper, "There's a major problem" ..... in between rhiannon riffs!!

You mean you don't shout out "Turn that sh*t down!" like John did??

Don't feel bad, Gail. When I first heard that bootleg, I thought she was talking to the audience. I thought she meant they were too loud for "Songbird".
