was more interested in the Cubs v. Marlins game (Which the Cubs came back to win after posting 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th for a 6-3 win!)

I did flip over to watch the local news channels during the commercials, Except for a few minor tornadoes (ie-The El Reno tornado that hit the airport hangers) this storm front yesterday was kinda of a dud....But at least we knew it was gonna happen.

I do enjoy watching the national news outlets making the stories of the tornadoes seem so important when most Oklahomans just shrug in that regard...Part of the territory that comes with living in Oklahoma is dealing with tornadoes (We are the heart of tornado alley.)

formed over the town/hellhole that we live in, Carnegie, And by the time it reached Chickasha it started to evolve into a monster.

The May 3rd tornado first touched down right at a Chickasha intersection (Near the Delta Faucet plant on the highway) that Deb & myself still drive through on a near daily basis.

I know it was an F5, but in addition I believe it had the highest winds ever recorded in a tornado anywhere. AM I right?

I was doing some research a couple days ago on Tornadoes and I came across the BIG ONE that hit Wichita Falls Texas on April 10, 1979. DO you have any recolection of that?
