Band Face Off - Semifinals 9

David Bowie won the last round and joins The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Tina Turner, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell and Tom Petty in the finals.

Wow - this one is way hard, too many great choices. :(

Hot pepper here.

I went with GN'R. One of my favorites bands back in the late 80's and I still really enjoy their music.

i do luvme pepper...
but ive to go w/gnr

Um...none of these should've made the semifinals.

this coming from the lover of lorettalynn ;)

Loretta Lynn is good.

Um...the Pixies are an amazing and important band.

I agree - I think with the exception of The Killers, these are all important bands.

I've never heard of them. :o

I voted for Guns-n-Roses because Appetite for Destruction is one of my alltime favorite albums. I've seen the band live twice, once before they became famous (at a bar on LI) and once after (at the Ritz) and they were awesome!

The motherfarking Pixies, kthx.

Am I the only person that voted for Nirvana? Jesus!

That's rich, considering who you'd think should make the finals. Pixies of course, but Nirvana deserves to be up there also.
