How many different colors were there of the velour GYOW jacket?
 

For the Tusk Tour, she wore a maroon one & a blue one.

For the Mirage Tour, she wore a white one & a black one.

And on the Bella Donna Tour in Tempe, Lori even wore the blue one.

Were there any other colors people saw it in on any tour?

there was also a GOLD one. In the Tusk reissue booklet, there's a pic of Stevie and Lindsey at a stadium and she's got it on over a red dress, and the fabulous cream boots

Thanks! I just checked it out! That shot was taken in October 1980 at a USC-Arizona State game at the Coliseum. The jacket there looks red & gold. It's beautiful! My guess is that Stevie had that one made up specially for the halftime show because red & gold are the Trojan colors. (I wonder which thrift shop that one ended up at) Great!:thumbsup:

It looks like velveteen to me, and I love it! I think that jacket (in all of its colors)is one of her most beautiful pieces.

I agree. I've always loved the way they looked with her skirts. Very sleek and sexy with that distinctive vintage feeling. I wish she'd break one out every now and then...

Yes! I was just thinking the same thing. Red is my favorite color on Stevie!!

It suits her really well, espesh round the time of OSOTM. Needless to say the way she looks on the cover is stunning. And as for the Rooms on Fire video ... don't get me started! :]
