Question for traders
If someone emailed you for a trade, and you later found out this person this person is using a different name than their own which they use on their website, would you still trade with them, or would you view their actions as too deceitful to go through with it?
I'm asking this because I had someone email me for a DVD trade, and was going to do it. Then, today I found part of this person's list on a trade site belonging to someone else. The font, and all descriptions were exactly the same, no change whatsoever. What I'm asking is, would you trade with the person, and if not, what would you do? Thanks for any input! :) |
there could be a ton of reasons behind this. in all fairness, I'd confront the person about it. get some sort of explanation and then decide.

Unfortunately, I found that this trader appears to be going through a close friend, or using a close friend's name to try and get a trade. It's a shame the person felt they had to lie to get me to trade with them. If they would've been honest with me I would have went through with the trade. |
Maybe they just changed their email address or website? I don't know but are they now saying that they are someone different? Are they using their friend's site and info to say that is them? Gotta love the internet sometimes.

If I posted what I was told in email by this person, posted the site, and then posted the MySpace page with the two very close friends, I'm not sure if you'd be as insulted as I am, or just lyao...which I also did. |
