Stevie's Los Angeles High School?

Does anyone know what High School Stevie went to in LA for the 11th and 12th Grade? I already know that Lori went to Taft in Woodland Hills.

Thanks :)

Arcadia High School:

When Stevie Nicks and her family moved to Arcadia, Stevie and Robin Snyder (AHS Class of 1966) instantly became the very best of friends. This friendship lasted until October 5, 1982 when Robin died of leukemia at the far too young age of 34. This segment of our tribute, if you will, to Stevie Nicks is dedicated to Stevie and Robin’s friendship. The classic Stevie Nicks songs Gypsy and Rhiannon were inspired by their friendship.

I thought that Stevie and Lindsey both graduated from Menlo-Atherton HS?

That was the night of the Mirage show that made it to video, correct?

Arcadia High, where my siblings & I went (I grew up in Arcadia).

Edit: It's in Los Angeles County, but not considered "Los Angeles" by Southlanders. It's considered the San Gabriel Valley/Foothills.

Most importantly, Arcadia is home to Santa Anita race track!

She lived in a Los Angeles suburb for 10th and 11th grade and went to Arcadia HS and went to Menlo Atherton HS for 12th grade which is a suburb south of San Francisco. Here's her quote from the recent interview:

Quote:

I was born there but we moved away when I was a baby. I was in Los Angeles when I was five, then New Mexico for two years, then El Paso in Texas for the third to the seventh grade, then I was in Salt Lake City in Utah for the 8th and 9th grade, then to Los Angeles for the 10th and 11th - and then to San Francisco for my senior year and that was glorious because I'd moved right into the middle of the hugest thing that was happening.

I think just 10th & 11th grade. In Arcadia, 9th grade is junior high--Foothill, Dana or First Avenue.

I'd like to know where in Arcadia the Nickses lived. I assume it was on the eastside, probably on the foothill side of Santa Anita Avenue.

Still? It was in Long Beach, too, until about 8 years ago...now 9th grade is "High School".

Her father was a big executive, they could've lived in San Marino. Now that I think about it why wasn't Stevie going to private schools? And why San Jose State?...they could have afforded Stanford.

I don't know what the deal was in the mid 1960s, but under the district lines in the early 1970s, San Marino kids wouldn't have been sent to AHS.

The San Marino school district was excellent, though. In fact, when the major testing was done between 1970 & 1975, Beverly Hills placed first in Southern CA, followed by San Marino & then Arcadia Unified. We were third! Yippee!!

I don't know about it nowadays. Back in the '60s & '70s, junior high in Arcadia was all three years. It was great because you didn't have ****ty little 9th graders in your high school!
