well if anybody can upload 18 and a half minutes of video they can see the moment that stevie takes the book from kathie,aka harriet, stella ,last night at the gold coast all of the ledgies got to shake hands with stevie,kath who done so much hard work on the book was just so happy she got the book, lucy was just in awe , especially when waddy gave her his pick and come right up to the front of her on edge to play for her, it was an amazing experience after a dramatic day,vicki spoke to andrew mc mannus after the show and he tried to get us back to see stevie after the show so we could tell her about the book and the work that the sistas had done on it, we didnt get to meet stevie as she had left allready but we got to meet taku and had pictures with him,andrew mc mannus told us to get in contact with him at the other shows and he will get us backstage to meet stevie so wish us luck, it was a truely awesome show after a couple of extremly dramatic days, from rough house securrity in melbourne to beinng accused of having stolen tickets in brisbane , than attending a motorbike on the gold coast before the show (vicki is my hero )i can honestly say that it was the best show i have ever attended , with the best people in the world, and we have 3 more shows to attend yet , how awesome will this be , i have about 2 gig of video and pics frommelb and gold coast shows, i will burn them on dvd when i get back home next week , i will mail them to my usuall gfreinds , if i can i will send them to as many people as incan , please recopy them for other ledgies ,there is some awesome footage and pics ,im flying to newcatle in about 30 minutes, im at the airport now ,i wwwill give more details as soon as i can, speacial thanks to all the people who made the book happen , you know who you are , love harry:thumbsup:

hi...what a great timew u had and lucky too...so close to meeting stevie backstage but im sure u'll see her at the next show. mr mcmanus is a great person and he'll do his best to get u backstage. hope u enjoy the rest of the shows and keep us informed...thanks much pat (long time fan):wavey:

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I got backstage at a couple Gold Dust shows but never actually got to meet her (although she did walk right past me at one of them). I'll cross my fingers for you.

Can someone please tell me what was in this book you gave to Stevie? I'm dying to know. So awesome she took it!

on another note..I am really interested to know how people get picked to go back stage? or for the meet and greets etc...

Andrew said he'd try and get all us ledgies backstage... we didn't get to see Stevie though... she had already left.

But it was the most amazing night... Waddy came right over to the stage where I was standing and gave me his pick!! And at the end when they were all bowing... I waved at Lori, and she waved back!!! :blob1: :blob2:

I don't know how they normally get picked to go backstage. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time in Melbourne. I made it to the 2nd row from the 5th and some guy leaned up and tapped me on the shoulder. He handed me the pass and said "I think you should have this. I can tell you are a huge fan!" I was so stunned I was like "Ok, what does this mean?" He said " You get to go backstage and meet her!!" I was ecstatic. I thanked him profusely and told him he just made my life!! Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Stevie but I was backstage for quite awhile, just hanging out with the band, not talking to all of them mostly just observing what went on. I did speak to Waddy and had a pic taken with Taku but I saw ALL of them. Saw Sharon, Jana and Lori leaving with their suitcases. Another guy who I could tell knew Stevie because Sharon and Jana came up to give him flowers and wine for his wife that they had received and couldn't take with him, he was also waiting for Stevie. Finally, Waddy came out and said that we weren't going to get to see her because he couldn't even get his friends back to see her. So, that was a bummer and so I tried to get backstage again at Brisbane and they pretty much just told me there was no meet and greet even though I was the only one standing there waiting. I was pretty bummed. But, hey cool, I got to hang out with her band for awhile. Then Harry got backstage and he will have more to say to you about that when he gets home. Just got off the phone with him he is on cloud nine. Slept only a few doors down from the Goddess last night...Woo hoo!!!

I haven't written my whole experience yet but that's an official start anyway. Mostly, I just had a fantastic time with all the Ledgies at dinner before the Melbourne show. I met some really awesome people. Stevie looked absolutely wonderful and sounded awesome. Best Beauty and the Beast ever at the Brisbane show. I feel so lucky to have been able to go.

We didn't really talk. I just basically said Hello, great show, is Stevie coming out? I'm not really sure whether it was that she left or didn't want to see anyone. Then he came out to say he couldn't get his friends in so I left.
