A girl named "Stevie" on the new season of AI
 

Hi. I don't know if this was mentioned here yet but tonight I was watching Idol and a girl named Stephanie "Stevie" made it through to the next round of competition where American begings to judge. I thought that was really cool. I didn't however, feel the STEVIE vibe from her.

Thoughts?

I watched American Idol tonight too. I wonder if her mom or dad loves Fleetwood Mac and hence her nickname being Stevie and her name is Stephanie. I know a few Stephanie's and they usually don't use Stevie as a nickname but Steffie or Step. Seems most young fans learn to love Stevie and FM music from their parents or grandparents.

I am still loving Taylor Hicks. Coming in the room playing the harmonia was cute. Corny.......... but he has a little bit of boyish charm about him. He still reminds me of George Clooney and a little bit of a young Elvis.

I LOVE Taylor!! He is so diferent. I've always been into white hair, and plus he has such an endearing quality, great smile.... and that boy can sing!! I said he was like a young Elvis w/ tics LOL. If he maybe got in a bit better shape and chisled up that face a little, he'd be a real hottie.

Ace is really the only other hottie in terms of the guys, hands down. :)

Taylor and Ace are my two favorites for the guys so far. I also have a soft spot for the kid whose name I think is Kevin. The one that's kind of nerdy looking with the glasses. He just seems like such a sweetheart!

For the girls, I really like Lisa Tucker, the 16 year old. "Stevie" hasn't impressed me so far but maybe that will change, because we haven't heard a lot from her yet.

I really like him, too. And man, you're right- can he sing! He seems very talented, along with having such a great personality. If he makes it a little longer, they'll clean up his image. We probably won't even recognize him by the end of the season!

As far as the Stevie girl goes- I really like her a lot.

Yeah, the white haired guy, Taylor or Tyler? Anyway, I think he's just different enough to keep me interested. I think he sounds pretty good.

And he seems like such a genuine person too, which is nice.

Taylor's cute. I don't even watch AI... actually, the only full episode I've ever really seen was the one where he made his first appearance, but I'm glad he's made it so far.
