So, when I was in 3nd - 5th or 6th grade (1982 - 85) - remember everyone always drew hearts with wings? (well, girls). And there were always stickers like that (My sticker book was awesome, by the way - I had tons of oilies).
That's just a coincidence, right? It's independent from Stevie, right? I'm sure people have been drawing them forever, right?
Maybe someone a few years older than me would remember better?

I think it is independent of Stevie and is one of those archetypal symbols. Harley Davidson uses it too.
