Pucker up -

for all of you collagen lovers I figured we could talk about the latest boosting and plumping products. Since I'm not quite ready for plastic surgery (with the exception of a possible nose job), I will say that City Lips is, by far, the best thing I've had. I've tried all the high-end products and this works the best. Lip Fusion is very tacky and doesn't really work either. Lip Venom stings and is just nasty. City Lips is a tad expensive per tube ($29) but well worth it. Within minutes of putting it on I notice a difference in the moisture and the overall appearance. It is not tacky and feels great, no nasty smell either. Over time, the results just get better. One question though for those who have used this for a while...why did they switch from a pad applicator to a brush? The brush is much messier and less useful during application.

ROTFLMAO!!!;) :D

ooo, I'm on it. I have lip venom, but it's too gluey/sticky/motoroilonmylips.

side note: My lips have plumped since I stopped smoking.

I've turned into a lip balm ho - and my lips aren't even chapped very much. I have to put the sunscreen one on daily or I freak out. Plus the lanolin one for smooth lipstickage.

Anyway, thanks for the tip, I wrote it down. Do you know that cinnamon oil works, too? Bit stingy.
(you big queen)

If you use cinnamon oil, heavily dilute it. It will burn in the baaaaaad, baaaaaad way.

I love lip venom. The consistency works for me. I'm not buying it anymore, though. I've decided the only thing that I will spend $18 per on at Sephora is L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil.

And here I complain when I spend almost $4 on shower soap.

Oh, word. Have you seen the new honey one? It's so awesome.

When people don't believe me that my addiction to Burt's Bees is hardcore, I prove it to them by showing them that I actually care two tubes just on my person at all times- one in each pocket so I don't have to take the time to find it. I keep one in the car, one in my desk at work, one perpetually sitting on the keyboard at my desk, one in the bathroom, one on my nightstand, one on the coffee table.

Have I just shown my psychosis??

And Sara- I know, $18 for shower oil is a sickness. Overly expensive bath products are something I won't give up. It's sick.

you like that? meh. I'm on the lanolin kick, it has proven antiaging properties. :p
Actually, I got a burt's bees tinted lip balm, and it was too light and too orange, of course - that's the only reason I said "meh". ;)

Bwah! I have three different tubes of balm in separate places, too. Not all one, one is sunscreen (kiss my face cranberry orange spf 15), one is the DHC lanolin stick, and one is Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker (the perfect amount of tint w/shine). Backpack, bathroom, small purse.

I use a nice lip balm by Caudalie. What is City Lips?
