A very very handsome friend of mine just mentioned that he heard from someone that Stevie has breast cancer... (WHAT?!?!?!) I was so freaked out I just had to ask on here... :shrug:

Sounds like another...
 

rumor, I wouldnt worry about it because if Stevie was indeed ill she would be seeking treatment instead of preparing for her Australian tour.

What the hell does what your friend's mug and your opinion of it have to do with the rumor you are trying to spread .Uh oh folks looks like our troll free period has come to an end again.:nod:

I wasn't trying to start a rumo(u)r, I was asking a question. My friend heard this from a legitimate source, at least according to him, and we were both worried and I thought I should ask. You people are really bitches sometimes!

You, BombaySapphire, rarely even post about Stevie Nicks. You've posted about Celine Dion and Tom Delay, but, um, not Stevie... I had an important question, and if your .58 posts per day makes you think that you're better than me, then that is sad. Some of us have busy lives.. I really resent how rude you are.

Rule of thumb: "Friends" and anonymous "legitimate sources" rarely make for good news. If it were announced that Stevie had breast cancer, it would be all over her official website, as well as all of the major news websites (see: Kylie Minogue). And there would surely be a ****load of threads about it here. It's very easy and always in your own best interests to do just a modicum of research before asking a question like this in a fan forum, lest you be accused of spreading vicious rumours, because yes, fans can be bitches sometimes when it comes to these kinds of things.

It's not your fault, you got slightly duped, but go back and read your initial post and I think you'll see why some people got a little up in arms over it. What kind of response would you expect if someone came here and posted, "Hi all, I just heard from a rather voluptuous acquaintance of mine that Stevie robbed a bank in Utah this morning, is this true?"

Ha, wouldn't it be great if it turns out she actually did have cancer? Maybe she isn't completely ready to release the news yet, or maybe she doesn't even have it yet but will soon, and this was all just a coincidence. Either way, Ms. Senseformiles would either be owed many apologies or would be worshiped for the prophetic powers that you all worship from Ms. Nicks. Irony at its best.

Maybe people got her mixed up with Melissa Etheridge or someone else.:shrug: People can't get artists and their songs that they perform correct so I am sure that they might miss-match illnesses.
