Looking for Gold Dust Woman

Hi all! :wavey:
I am so sorry to open a whole new thread about this, but I didn't know where to post my question.
I would like to find a live version of Gold Dust Woman, which is one of my favorite FM songs. I have only the Rumours version and I was very disappointed to find out that it wasn't included in the Live in Boston cd (as far as I know, it was also not included in the Dance cd).
In music stores in my country I can find an FM live cd from the early 80's (the one with the black&white cover), but I don't think it's included there either!
Can anyone give me some advice on where to look for a good live version? And since I brought it up: why, oh why wasn't it in the Dance cd and in the Boston live??

They did perform "Gold Dust Woman" in the concert that was filmed for The Dance, but that song was cut from the CD release. It is available on the Dance DVD, though. You can watch that performance on youtube.com.

But here it is, and it is the best version of it that I have heard.

The Dance version of GDW is also available on one of the import singles for Silver Springs, as well as some of the other songs that were cut from the CD.

You mean they didn't put GDW on Live in Boston? I thought for sure they'd put GDW on Live in Boston.

the Silver Springs import cd is a good one.
Aside from Gold Dust Woman, it also includes great versions of Over My Head and Go Insane. Same great sound quality as The Dance cd.

If you can't find it in good record stores (like Amoeba) I'm sure it can be had as a download from limewire or acquistion -

or some nice person on the ledge will upload and send it to you i'm sure.

i like the Dance version of GDW better then older ones -
i love how Stevie lets loose toward the end.
i'm sure her throat hurt the next morning.

I almost had heart failure every time someone mentioned the Dance version of GDW, thinking it meant dance with a small d ... *shudder*

Thank you al for your answers. I still find it strange though that the song was not in the Dance and in the Boston live. And both of them ar very good versions. Besides, I always thought of GDW as a "trademark song", like Dreams or Rhiannon and that it would just go everywhere:nod:

No doubt the best live GDW I've ever heard was from 8-30-1978 Baton Rouge. Over 10 minutes long. AMAZING!!
